The Powerpuff Girls is a fictional Universe represented in MultiVersus.

The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken. The program was produced by Hanna-Barbera until 2001 when Cartoon Network Studios took over production. The Powerpuff Girls revolves around three kindergarten-aged girls with superpowers and their battles against evil opponents in the city of Townsville. The series is an action comedy with inspiration from American superheroes as well as Japanese Tokusatsu. The series was a launching pad for an entire media franchise including an anime, three CD albums, numerous video games, a multitude of merchandise, and a feature film. In 2016, the series also received a reboot. On July 18, 2022, a second Powerpuff Girls reboot series was announced with Craig McCracken returning as the creator, director, and producer. This reboot is meant to revisit and expand upon the world of the original series as Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup face off against a variety of old and new villains, and will be produced by Hanna Barbera Studios Europe.

- The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, and Dexter's Laboratory are the only franchises in the game owned by Cartoon Network.
- Much like Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls were previously represented in the crossover platform fighter, Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion, making MultiVersus their second fighting game appearance.
- Harley Quinn's voice actor, Tara Strong, voiced Bubbles in the original series.
- It's confirmed that Catherine Cavadini, Tara Strong, and E. G. Daily will be voicing Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup in the game.
- Likewise, the original voice actors for The Rowdyruff Boys and Mojo Jojo have also returned.
