Taunts are a sub-type of the Emote cosmetic items that can be collected in MultiVersus. Taunts take the form of short dances and poses made by the game's various Fighters, usually with the intention of mocking or trying to rile up their opponents.
In the Offline Mode hiatus, all released Taunts (with the exception of the ones that were exclusive to the Preseason and Season 1 Battle Passes prior to the Open Beta's closure) are currently available for free.

- During Preseason, Taunts were temporarily renamed to Emotes. Their name was reverted back in the Season 1.04 Patch.
