Class Breakdown Cards

Class Breakdown Cards are holographic cards that depict all of the game's pre-Season 1 Fighters, alongside three of their abilities and their respective Universe. They were first teased on the official social media accounts on March 15th, 2022 via gifs, with the first card revealed being of Shaggy.

These cards were eventually given out as exclusive collector items at the EVO 2022 MultiVersus booth. On August 23rd, 2022, Morty got a preview of his Class Breakdown card, confirming that the cards will eventually return at future events, and future Fighters would be getting cards as well. Player First Games has also sent special packages that included these cards to certain content creators.

Every card has two variations: a normal variation and a holographic one.

Trivia

• The gifs also showcased the Fighters' archetypes via a moving bracelet, but this detail was not carried over to the real life designs, likely because they were impossible to recreate. For this reason, the real life cards instead display their respective Fighter's archetype in a small rectangle that's placed at their very top.
• Garnet and Steven Universe are the only pre-Season 1 Fighters to have received promotional gifs of their Class Breakdown cards after the EVO 2022 tournament.
  • Coincidentally, they're both from Steven Universe.
