Cake the Cat is Jake the Dog's gender-swapped cat counterpart from an alternate universe hidden within the Ice King's mind. She, alongside her adopted sister, Fionna the Human, debuted in the ninth episode of Adventure Time's Season 3, titled "Fionna & Cake", as part of the Ice King's in-universe fan-fictions.

- Cake's teeth were altered in Season 1 to better reflect their appearance in Adventure Time.
- Cake, Evil Morty, and Commander X2 are currently the only "Substitute" Variants so far to have a Variant of their own, with the Variant in this case being Calico Cake.
